Introduction:
I spent the first 27 years of my life on the fast track to geekdom. I worked as a Linux system administrator, played magic the gathering, and world of warcraft. Then a life changing event forced me to re-evaluate my situation. I lost 170lbs and started to expand my horizons. Now I have a ton of new hobbies, and a love for the outdoors. I am still a geek at heart though and that is where this blog comes in. I want a way to share all the cool things I come across in my various hobbies and adventures. I dont want this site to be just another aggregator of internet hype, so I am going to attempt to only post original content.
